AWS Activate (cloud credits)

What it is

In-kind USD cloud credits, not a cash grant: AWS Activate gives eligible startups promotional AWS credits — the self-funded Founders tier offers up to $5,000 (initial $1,000) and the Portfolio tier up to $200,000 for startups with an Organization ID from an Activate Provider (VC, accelerator or angel investor).

Verified 2026-08-21 on aws.amazon.com/startups/credits and aws.amazon.com/activate/: program live under the Activate name. Tiers: Founders up to $5,000 (initial grant $1,000, self-funded); Portfolio up to $200,000 (requires an Org ID from an Activate Provider); an invite-only $200,000+ track exists for AI startups. valueMin/valueMax and capture max are USD promotional-credit amounts, not GBP and not cash. Funder-stated eligibility: pre-Series B, founded in the last 10 years (expressed as monthsTrading <= 120), AWS account on a paid-tier plan, and new to Activate or requesting more credits than previously received — the funding-stage and paid-tier gates are not expressible in engine fields and are recorded here. The Notion rescue held two variant rows (one already marked withdrawn as a duplicate); this is one scheme.
